About Us
The General Thimayya National Academy of Adventure (GETHNAA) was established by the Government of Karnataka on 23 Mar 1989 for the promotion of Adventure sports in Karnataka. The Academy functions under the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports, Government of Karnataka. The main thrust of adventure training envisaged by the Academy would be through a series of adventure courses of varying duration in the following three categories. Terrestrial Sports, Aqua Sports, Aero Sports.
